1. Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir

Opposite to the Keran sector of Indian-held Kashmir. From the Chella Bandi Bridge – just north of Azaad Kashmir’s capital Muzaffarabad – to Tau Butt, a valley stretches out for 240 kilometres; it is known as the Neelum Valley (literally, the Blue Gem Valley).
Neelum is one of the most beautiful valleys of Azaad Kashmir, and it hosts several brooks, freshwater streams, forests, lush green mountains, and a river. Here, you see cataracts falling down the mountains; their milky-white waters flowing over the roads and splashing against the rocks, before commingling with the muddy waters of River Neelum.



2. Gojal Valley

The Gojal Valley borders China and Afghanistan, with its border meeting the Chinese border at Khunjerab — 15,397 feet above sea level — and remains covered with snow all year long.

In the north west, there is Chiporsun, whose border touches the Wakhan region of Afghanistan. Wakhan is about six square miles in area, after which starts Tajikistan. The Karakoram Highway which connects Pakistan to China also passes through Gojal Valley and enters China at Khunjerab.


3. Deosai Plains

Deosai is located on the boundary of Karakoram and the western Himalayas, and at no point it is less than 4000 meters above sea level. It remains covered with snow for 8 months. The rest of the year, it hosts a range of beautiful flowers of all hues and colours, but not a single tree is found in this plateau spread over 3000 sq. km.
Sheosar lake is also part of this. This lake is one of the highest lakes in the world. The deep blue water, with snow-covered mountains in backdrop, and greenery with wild flowers in foreground offer such a view in summers, that one is left amused for the rest of his life.



4: Leepa Valley:
 is located 45 kilometres (28 miles) from Muzaffarabad. A fair-weather road leads towards Leepa from Nail [about 45 kilometers (28 miles) from Muzaffarabad] which inclines over Reshian Gali 10500 feet (3200 meters) high and then it descends to 5500 feet (1677 meters) into the Leepa Valley. The valley has many wonderful touristic scenes. Leepa is the most fascinating and charming place for tourists in Azad Kashmir. The one who visit this valley cannot easily come out from the magical stance of the beauty of this valley. The green mountains of the valley are full of pine trees and present a charming and picturesque view to visitors. In the whole season of winter the Leepa Valley stays covered within blanket of snow. This valley remains open for the domestic tourists only between May and November. People from all over the country; come to this valley during summer to enjoy the marvelous weather. The charming Leepa Valley consists of many villages; the most famous among them are Leepa, Reshian, Dao Khan, and Chananian. All these villages equally contribute to a wonderful mosaic of patterns Mother Nature has so ornately and intricately woven here in this part of Azad Kashmir.


5: Pishin Valley 
is about 50 kilometers from Quetta city in District Pishin in the northwest of Balochistan province of Pakistan. It consists of thousands of acres of fruit orchards. The valley is a fertile land where several crops and fruits are grown. Pishin Valley is renowned for the greenery and is also the primary place for crop production. Besides the crops it is also famous for the growth of vegetables and fodder. Today Pishin Valley is famous for horticulture and agriculture in Pakistan.
Apart from the fruit, there is a quaint little market town which is famous for eating joints and other traditional foods. There is a man made spring ‘Karez’. This artificial spring is made in order to use the subterranean water for irrigation purposes.
